Please ensure that your child brings with them a snack for the morning and afternoon, please ensure these are labelled AM and PM Snack to avoid confusion.

Please also ensure that your child brings a packed lunch with them and a labelled water bottle. We always recommend a healthy balanced lunch with lots of healthy treats and non-fizzy drink.

Due to severe allergies onsite at our holiday clubs we ask that no nuts or nut products are packed in your child’s snack or lunch box.  Unfortunately they will be removed and disposed of onsite if we do find any packed in any lunch boxes.

Please also ensure that your child has clothing appropriate for the day with them. We would always recommend a rain coat and enclosed shoes. If it is sunny a sun hat and sun cream and again enclosed shoes. We suggest a change of clothing for any messy play or water play that your child may be involved in and we always suggest sending them in clothing you are happy for them to come home messy and dirty in.

Please ensure all clothing, lunch boxes and water bottles are labelled with your child’s name.

The legal adult to child requirement is currently 1:30, however we always have a minimum of 2 members of staff onsite at all times. However we always try to work to a 1:8 for under 8’s and 1:15 for over 8’s. Care is not affected in any respect for the older children however we find sometimes younger children may need more assistance throughout the day.

All staff members are all put through enhanced Disclosure and barring checks, trained in safeguarding and wider aspects, food hygiene, behaviour management and much more. A minimum of one staff member onsite will be paediatric first aid trained.

Although there is no legal requirement to have qualified staff onsite, we try and recruit the highest quality people to ensure that we offer the best possible experience while in our care. All of our staff receives ongoing training.

Our teams offers a great mix of experience, personality and fun whilst ensuring all children are enjoying activities set out and getting the most from their day with us.
